Stratus 2

I know all of the arguments for the Stratus linked to an iPad versus the panel mount 496 with XM (which I have) as far as inital cost versus subscription, ground versus satelite, etc. However, I am now seeing the Stratus 2 and the added benefit meay be the AHRS. Has anyone used the Stratus 2 yet? Is it worth the 18 months worth of XM subscription to make up the cash outlay? Any experiences would be appreciated.
