MOSAIC and PA28-181 Stall Speeds?
Exciting news yesterday from Oshkos - the MOSAIC final rule allows Sport Pilots to fly aircraft with clean stall speeds up to 59 KCAS, up from the proposed 54 KCAS, which includes a lot more PA28s. My question is: what is that speed for my PA28-181 Archer II? Looking at the POH (manual VB-1120), you can read it a number of… -

Cylinders available O360 A12 wide.
I have replaced my cylinders on my 1973 Cherokee PA-28 180 with Superior Melinium cylinders. One of my removed cylinders was rebuilt by Zephyer Hills and it only has about 30 hours on it. The compression on this cylinder was 78 over 80 when removed. How would I go about selling it? I also have 3 other rebuildable… -

Low oil pressure
Fighting an intermittent oil pressure problem on my 1978 turbo arrow 3. Oil pressure spikes normally on start up and within 5 minutes slowly moves into the yellow range. Most recently it happened in flight. I normally sit at 50 PSI in cruise. Yesterday it was at 35 PSI. After landing at idle power I could barely keep it… -
Officially joined the club with a 1964 Cherokee 180
Pre-buy came back with minor gripes. Needed new tires and nose strut serviced, so seller knocked off $1500 but was sold with fresh annual and IFR certification. Also turned up some interesting avionics history. It has the servos for autopilot, it had a 430 at one time and then a KLN90 which prior owner reported smelling…
