GTO picnic!!!
Hi All,
It was a good old fashion picnic with the finest picnic spread the upper midwest can offer (Thanks to Dan's wife!). The weather did its best to keep the turn out small but many pilots and their families were able to navigate through the storms.
Among the people at the picnic, I was able to meet families from Corvalis, Oregon; Tampa, Florida; Louisiana, and Ohio to name a few. The Piper and Cessna families of aircraft were well represented with Cherokees, Lances, 182s and a 210 to name just a few. I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces next year. Safe travels home everyone.
