  • I am an 18 year capt at a major airline and I can tell you guys rush as fast as you can too build up those flight hours. 10 years ago you needed 5,500hr just to get looked at, now we are hiring 2,800hr guys.

    But I will tell you this, the airlines will adjust, they always do. I don't know how, but the demand for pilots is a major threat to them, so they will address it soon.
