Extended cargo pa-32

Anyone have an STC for an extended cargo for a pa-32?

  • Do you mean to extend past the baggage area bulkhead and into the empennage? eg: for skiis?

  • The extended baggage I am talking about opens up the area behind the rear baggage area to the next bulkhead, about 3 feet back. One type has a cover over control cables the other a floor like what one sees in a Cessna 185

It’s used for storing seats and light baggage.

  • I have never seen or heard of anything like this for Pipers, however, I'll start looking around. I'll let you know if I find anything. Have you checked STC's?

  • Yes I have checked STC’s. All the ones I have found were field approval’s.

  • Hi Guy,
You've found field approvals? Does that lead you back to a vendor?

  • No because the vender is no longer with us.

  • Ok, I'll keep looking around, thanks for the update.
