Rudder repair issue for a 1978 T-Tail Lance
I need to find a replacement rudder for a 1978 Lance, T-Tail, model PA-32RT-300, or a suggestion for repairing one. Preferrably, there is a plane out there that has seen it's better years, and this used part might be available for sale. Alternatively, if anybody knows the details of any kit that was issued by Piper for upgrading or replacing the rudder, I need this info as well. I saw a PA32-260 rudder p/n: 63542-02
You can try giving them a call as well.
Oh, just reread your post - you're a T-tail. Hmmmm.... Can't hurt to give'em a call.
You may also want to try Wentworth or White Industries for salvage parts. I've used both, and they can usually give you the background on the parts you'd be buying from the logbooks for the salvaged airplane. I needed a bellcrank for my rudder, and found the parts I needed.
