Tow Point Stickers

Good morning! I'm wondering if somebody might have a picture that could send me of where they may have placed their tow limit stickers on their Piper Arrow if anybody has. I just received the stickers and I just want to make sure that I'm putting them in the right spot I've read that you put them on the front strut I just want to know the exact placement if anyone has a picture and they can maybe share with me that would be awesome

  • Check the TDCS (TYPE CERTIFICATE DATA SHEET NO. 2A13) for Control movement section. It says left 30 degrees +/- 2 ,right 30 degrees +/-2. Hope this helps.

  • Let's not overthink this.

Here's the easy way to figure out where to put them. You just landed at XXX airport and the 16-year-old with the 4000 lb tug just hooked up to your nose gear. You have two options for placement of your little red hash marks.

One. With the wheel against the stop to one side or the other you have placed them so the red line indicates you're hitting the stop.

Two , you placed your hash marks before you are hitting any mechanical stop left or right to give a warning that you are now in a dangerous zone and you shouldn't go much farther.

Pick an option. As far as I am concerned the limit marks on the nose gear really aren't for the owner operator they're more for the people outside The sphear of owner operator .
