Two blade vs three blade prop

I have a two blade on my lance I found a used two blade with serviceable blade recent overhaul for $4500 was able to sell mine to experimental which is highly sought after for 3k. The three blade unless it’s MT which sellfor 18k. Is less efficient lose 5 kts cruise speed and moves fwd CG adds 35 lbs. yes it’s increase climb 200fpm accelerates faster. Helps shorted take off roll 100ft and quieter . Couple in more ground clearance. Harts new two blade Simch prop is suppose to be really good with speed inc!

    I had a 2-blade prop on my Arrow but replaced the prop with a 3-blade and never looked back.

    For me, the Arrow is ~ 2 kt. slower but is much smoother, more quiet (higher pitch so it seems quieter but I expect the dB to be similar) and I get ~ 200 ft/min. increase in climb.

    Also, in my opinion, the 3-blade prop simply looks better.
