New guy with a newly purchased 1966 Cherokee 140
Hello everyone. I just joined and want to say hello. I'm very new to Pipers, I cut my teeth back in the late '70s in Cessna's. Joined the Air Force and flew heavy's for 8 years, and on to the Airlines for 33 years. Then age 65 hit and retirement. Now it was time to get back to my roots. I have a good friend with an Archer… -
Engine Corrosion
To prevent engine corrosion especially for planes stored in hot humid coastal areas, does anyone use a dehumidifier vented into the oil dipstick tube to help reduce and remove any moisture buildup post flight. While the cost of the aircraft is attractive it did just have the wing spars and front seat… -

We also just replaced the aluminum wires with new copper ones. After all that, the plane still takes about 4 tries to start. I’m not… -
engine monitor installation
I have a 1967 PA28R-180 Arrow I plan to install an Electronics International engine monitor on soon. I am wondering if anyone here has done the same and have any tricks they learned that might make it easier. I don't believe the brand of monitor really matters, just wondering if you've done something similar and learned… -
